Associate Cheyne Yonemori is an associate of the firm and practices in the areas of energy, regulatory, corporate, and utilities law. Prior to joining the firm, Cheyne practiced at a well-known Hawaii law firm where he assisted local and foreign clients with a variety of corporate and business immigration matters, and drafted a brief of amicus curiae that was submitted to the United States Supreme Court. Cheyne also has experience working as a law clerk in the Commercial Transaction and Cross-Border Dispute Resolution Department of one of South Korea’s largest law firms. He has a working proficiency in the Korean language. Cheyne received his Juris Doctor from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, William S. Richardson School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Shidler College of Business. He is licensed to practice law in the States of Hawaii, California, and Washington.
