Naré G. Aleksanyan serves as Counsel to the firm and practices in the areas of corporate and business, real estate, health care, and energy law. Prior to joining the firm, Naré worked at a prominent Silicon Valley law firm, where she focused on a wide range of transactional and corporate matters, including representing emerging growth companies and venture investors in general corporate matters, Board governance, day-to-day operations, securities law compliance, venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. She was previously an associate at a local Honolulu firm, where she represented clients on a range of real estate and corporate matters. She started her legal career in San Francisco as part of the corporate practice group of a leading global law firm. Naré is also committed to community service and is currently a member of the legal mentor network at Blue Startups, a Hawaii-based accelerator focused on helping scalable-technology companies compete globally. Naré previously founded and led the Hawaii chapter of Girls in Tech, a global non-profit organization focused on the engagement, education, and empowerment of women in technology. She was also part of the inaugural cohort of XLR8HI preX Investment Readiness and Training Program. During law school, Naré was a student advocate for the California Asylum Representation Clinic, the External Mentorship Committee Chair for First Generation Professionals and founded the Armenian Law Students Association. Naré is licensed to practice in the State of Hawaii and the State of California. Naré earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Art from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
